Logicenters leases 13,000 m2 to Bedrocan in Køge

The logistics property company is continuing to develop its presence in the Copenhagen region. It has been announced that Bedrocan, a supplier of medical cannabis, will lease 13,000 m² in Køge.

Two years ago, Logicenters acquired 160,000 m² of land at the Danish logistics park, Skandinavisk Transport Center, in Køge, south of Copenhagen. The logistics property company is planning to develop facilities totalling 68,000 m² in the park, which is now beginning to be filled with future tenants.

A long-term lease agreement has been signed between Logicenters and the Dutch company Bedrocan to lease 13,000 m² in Egedesvej C, with occupancy scheduled to take place on 1 May 2023.

Our state-of-the-art and sustainable logistics facility will truly accommodate Bedrocan’s need to streamline its logistics operations on the Danish market. Bedrocan is the world’s most experienced producer of medical cannabis. Its high-quality cannabis is used worldwide by patients, drug developers and researchers. It operates two indoor growing facilities in the Netherlands and now one in Denmark (Køge). Bedrocan does not produce cannabis for recreational use.

Skandinavisk Transport Center’s proximity to the E20, E55 and E47 European motorways offers geographical benefits. Køge is also very close to Copenhagen and the port of Køge. Other major companies with a presence in the area include Lidl, Netto, Bring and Movianto.

Logicenters begins construction on Bring’s major new investment

Logicenters has now broken ground on Bring’s major e-commerce venture outside Copenhagen, with construction now officially under way. The facility will have a total area of 38,000 m² with the Norwegian post and logistics company leasing 14,000 m².

It was announced back in the autumn of 2021 that Logicenters was to begin its fourth development at its large 160,000 m² site in Køge, four miles south of Copenhagen. The tenant at the facility will be logistics company Bring with its Shelfless investment. An initial contract has been signed for 14,000 m² but with the ambition to double this area in the future.

The facility will be adapted in line with Bring’s investment in automated e-commerce logistics, enabling it to offer speedy and environmentally sound deliveries to its customers.

“We have finally begun construction of the new, modern building, which will be tailored to the customer’s needs like a hand in a glove. We at Logicenters are also proud to be building the facility in line with our clear and forward-looking environmental profile,” says Thomas Petersen, Commercial Manager at Logicenters.

The new building will give Bring the opportunity to build its large-scale Shelfless auto storage solution in Køge. The system is a total solution where technology enables stores to focus fully on their sales while Bring manages all processes from purchasing to delivery.

“Shelfless is a major and important investment in our ambition to be a leader in e-commerce in the Nordic region. It is great that construction is now under way and that we now have the start of Shelfless in Denmark in sight. Completion is expected in a year’s time. Logicenters leases 16,000 m2 to Movianto in Køge

The logistics property company is continuing to expand in the Copenhagen region. Logicenters has now signed a lease with Danish logistics company Movianto. The lease is for a high-tech pharmaceutical warehouse with a floor area of 16,000 m² and the facility is scheduled for completion during the third quarter of 2022.

Logicenters has now signed a lease with another tenant at Egedesvej in Køge, Denmark. The tenant is Movianto, a leading logistics company in pharmaceutical distribution. The long-term lease is for a high-quality pharmaceutical warehouse with a total area of 16,000 m². As has been the case for Logicenters’ other properties in Køge, the warehouse will be built according to Logicenters’ clear environmental profile with the option to install solar panels on the roof.

The high-tech warehouse will be a state-of-the-art and sustainable logistics facility that will meet Movianto’s needs and streamline the efficiency of its logistics operations. Logicenters begins construction for BHS Logistics in Køge

The groundbreaking ceremony has now taken place for the facility that Logicenters is developing in Køge, Denmark. The cross-dock terminal will be leased to BHS Logistics, with whom the logistics property company signed an agreement earlier this year. The terminal will have an area of 6,700 m² and is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2022.

During 2021, it was announced that Danish transport and logistics company BHS Logistics will be the first tenant at Logicenters’ new facility in Køge, just south of Copenhagen. At the Skandinavisk Transport Center logistics park, where the BHS Logistics terminal is located, Logicenters will develop additional logistics space of 60,000 m². The new facilities will be developed in line with Logicenters’ ambitious sustainability goals with the opportunity to install solar cells to generate renewable energy.

“We are very proud to announce that development of the terminal for BHS Logistics is now under way. Like us, BHS Logistics has ambitious sustainability goals; the terminal will be adapted to meet these goals and to streamline its logistics operations. Logicenters signs lease with BHS Logistics in Køge

Logicenters has signed a long-term lease with its first tenant at its new facility in Køge, Denmark. The tenant is Danish transport company BHS Logistics and the lease is for a cross-docking terminal with an area of 6,900 m². The company is scheduled to move into the property on 1 June 2022.

It has been announced that BHS Logistics, a Danish transport and logistics company, will be Logicenters’ first tenant at its new facility on Egedesvej in Køge, Denmark, just south of Copenhagen. The lease is for a cross-docking terminal with modern warehousing and office space measuring 6,900 m² at the Skandinavisk Transport Center logistics park. In addition to the space to be leased by BHS, Logicenters is also planning to develop a further 60,000 m² of logistics space in the area.

In 2020, Logicenters acquired land at the Skandinavisk Transport Center logistics park with the aim of strengthening its presence in Denmark. In line with Logicenters’ ambitious sustainability goals, the new property is being developed with a strong focus on sustainability. As well as the option of installing solar panels on the roof to generate renewable energy for the property, Logicenters undertook a number of studies and implemented measures to optimise the environmental impact of the property even prior to the start of construction.

We chose Køge because it is a central hub. The groundbreaking ceremony has now taken place for Logicenters’ 16,000 m² facility in Køge, south of Copenhagen, Denmark. The property, which is being built on speculation, is being developed with a strong focus on sustainability and is scheduled for completion in early 2022.

In 2020, Logicenters acquired a 160,000 m² lot of land at Skandinavisk Transport Center, a Danish logistics park in Køge, south of Copenhagen. The logistics property company is planning to develop facilities for a total of 68,000 m² at the park. The first phase has now been initiated with the development of a 16,000 m² logistics facility, which is being built on speculation and is scheduled for completion in spring 2022. In line with Logicenters’ ambitious sustainability goals, available options will include the installation of solar panels on the roof of the facility.

Groundbreaking in Køge for Logicenters’ and PostNord TPL’s new facility

Groundbreaking has now taken place in Køge, south of Copenhagen, where Logicenters is developing a 35,000 m² logistics property. The tenant who will be moving into the facility is PostNord TPL upon its completion, with which the logistics facility provider signed a lease earlier this year.

In July earlier this year, Logicenters announced that they had signed a lease with PostNord TPL in Køge, just south of Copenhagen. The agreement involved the development of a 35,000 m² logistics facility which is planned to be ready for PostNord to move into in the autumn of 2021. And now the groundbreaking ceremony for the new property has taken place.

“We are very proud to be able to further deepen our partnership with PostNord TPL. This groundbreaking is extra special for us since we are the ones who will serve as the developer for construction of this facility. I am certain that PostNord will be happy with its new facility that meets all their needs”, says Matthias Kettelhoit, Head of Logicenters.

The property will have a clear focus on sustainability and will be prepared for the installation of solar cells on the roof of the property as well as being BREEAM certified. This is in line with Logicenters’ strategy to develop sustainable facilities with lower carbon emissions and energy consumption.

Logicenters acquires site at Danish logistics park Skandinavisk Transport Center

Logicenters has acquired a 160,000 m2 site at the Danish logistics park, Skandinavisk Transport Center, in Køge to the south of Copenhagen. The land has been sold by Køge municipality and the acquisition has been undertaken as part of the municipality’s expansion plans for the existing logistics park. This logistics park is one of Denmark’s largest and it will continue to grow as Logicenters establishes itself in the area.

Logicenters develops and owns modern logistics facilities in the Nordic region. The logistics company is now looking to grow further in the Öresund region through the acquisition of a site in Køge, Denmark. The land has been sold by Køge municipality, with the site forming part of the municipality’s long-term expansion plans for the Skandinavisk Transport Center logistics park. The area is approximately 160,000 m² in size, with Logicenters’ buildings scheduled to account for around 70,000 m² of this.

“The Öresund region is an enormously competitive and growing region. Our presence in Køge is key to strengthening Logicenters’ position as a leading logistics player in the Nordic region. The undeveloped land gives us the opportunity to meet the needs of potential tenants for a modern logistics property. We will work with the tenant to develop and customise the property. A newly built railway station near the logistics park also provides excellent options for commuting to and from Copenhagen. In addition, the port of Køge is only three kilometres away, ideally located on the Baltic Sea, in close proximity to the Baltic countries. In the future, the Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link will also connect Køge to Germany and the rest of Europe.

The agreement includes the development of a 35,000 m² logistics property in Køge, just outside Copenhagen, which PostNord TPL will move into. The property is scheduled to be ready for occupancy in the autumn of 2021.

Logicenters is continuing to develop and strengthen its presence at strategic logistics hubs in the Nordic region and is now significantly extending its presence in Køge on Zealand, Denmark. The logistics property company has now signed a new lease with PostNord TPL, which also involves the development of a new 35,000 m² facility. The TPL property is scheduled to be ready for completion and occupancy in the autumn of 2021. Logicenters will serve as the developer for this project and this time will bring its trusted Swedish contractors across the strait.
