The land has been sold by K\u00f8ge municipality and the acquisition has been undertaken as part of the municipality&#8217;s expansion plans for the existing logistics park. This logistics park is one of Denmark&#8217;s largest and it will continue to grow as Logicenters establishes itself in the area.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Logicenters develops and owns modern logistics facilities in the Nordic region. The logistics company is now looking to grow further in the \u00d6resund region through the acquisition of a site in K\u00f8ge, Denmark. The land has been sold by K\u00f8ge municipality, with the site forming part of the municipality&#8217;s long-term expansion plans for the Skandinavisk Transport Center logistics park. The area is approximately 160,000 m<sup>2<\/sup> in size, with Logicenters\u2019 buildings scheduled to account for around 70,000 m<sup>2<\/sup> of this.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe \u00d6resund region is an enormously competitive and growing region. Our presence in K\u00f8ge is key to strengthening Logicenters\u2019 position as a leading logistics player in the Nordic region. The undeveloped land gives us the opportunity to meet the needs of potential tenants for a modern logistics property. We will work with the tenant to develop and customise the property. We are happy that K\u00f8ge municipality recognises the opportunities here and is allowing us to invest in the area,\u201d<\/em> says Matthias Kettelhoit, Head of Logicenters.<\/p>\n<p>The proximity to Copenhagen and Malm\u00f6 makes the Skandinavisk Transport Center a strategic location for logistics and transport, especially as the E20, E55 and E47 motorways all pass through K\u00f8ge. A newly built railway station near the logistics park also provides excellent options for commuting to and from Copenhagen. In addition, the port of K\u00f8ge is only three kilometres away, ideally located on the Baltic Sea, in close proximity to the Baltic countries. In the future, the Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link will also connect K\u00f8ge to Germany and the rest of Europe.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHere in K\u00f8ge we benefit from our unique location in the vicinity of Copenhagen, and the easy access to the rest of Zealand. This has contributed to creating a growing municipality, and a municipality which is strongly on its way to establishing itself as Zealand\u2019s power centre.
