Logistics company DB Schenker has moved in, signing a long-term lease agreement for the entire property with a total area of 25,600 m<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the summer of 2021, Logicenters acquired land in Nurmij\u00e4rvi, Finland, with a total of 51,000 m<sup>2<\/sup>, where the company plans to develop modern logistics. In December of last year, it was announced that one of the world\u2019s leading logistics providers, DB Schenker, had signed a lease agreement for a property of 25,600 m<sup>2<\/sup>. The facility is now fully completed, and DB Schenker has moved into its new warehouse space.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>We at Logicenters are pleased to welcome DB Schenker to a modern property specifically tailored to the customer&#8217;s needs. Nurmij\u00e4rvi is already an attractive area with proximity to both Helsinki and Tampere, which offers great opportunities in Finland and the entire Nordic region<\/em>&#8220;, says Jarkko \u00c4ik\u00e4\u00e4, Commercial Manager at Logicenters.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The property at Ilvesvuorenkatu 8 is sustainability certified as BREEAM Very Good. The facility also offers geothermal heating and energy generated by its own solar panels. Nurmij\u00e4rvi is part of the capital region in Finland and is strategically located with proximity to both Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport and the E12 European highway.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Six of our previous warehouses in Finland have been awarded Eco Warehouse environmental status by our parent company Deutsche Bahn. This latest warehouse also meets these requirements.
